Ice Rinks are Closed

Outdoor Ice Rink Conditions

The Clarendon Hills Park District constructs and maintains two outdoor lighted ice rinks during the winter season. Prospect Park and Hosek Park ice rinks are both located on the Tennis Courts.

To provide safe and effective ice-skating opportunities for our residents, approximately 5-7 days of sub-32-degree temperatures are required to form a good solid ice base for skating.

“OPEN” signs will be displayed, and the fence gates will be unlocked when it is determined by the Park Staff that the ice rinks are safe and usable.

Outdoor Ice Rink Rules and Guidelines

The Clarendon Hills Park District strongly encourages community residents to take the necessary measures to follow the posted rules below which comply with State of Illinois Tier 3 Mitigations. These rules and guidelines have been created in response to rising COVID-19 cases and are for the safety of yourself and others. We have confidence in our community residents to make the right decisions.
