Beginner Springboard Diving

Ages: 6+
Participants will learn the basics of springboard diving. Participants must be able to swim 15 yards and be comfortable in 12-foot-deep water. No prior diving experience is necessary.

Advanced Springboard Diving

Ages: 7+
Participants will learn more advanced dives (front, back, reverse, inward and half-twist). It is required to take Beginner Springboard Diving prior to this class. Participants must be able to swim 15 yards and be comfortable in 12-foot-deep water.

Swim Stroke Clinic

Ages: 6–18
The stroke clinics are designed for swimmers who already have a strong foundation in stroke. Advanced drills are introduced to put an emphasis on proper techniques from kicking to body position. The weeklong format allows the swimmer to focus on a specific stroke.

Fluid Running

Ages: 16 +
Fluid Running has revolutionized fitness by bringing running to the deep water, which eliminates the impact of land running while providing great cardiovascular and muscular benefits. The class is set to upbeat music led by certified instructors to get you through a full body workout that gets the heart rate up and burns calories. You can now buy passes online- either a 1-pass or 5-pass where you then will be able to sign up through the app. Max 24 participants per class.

Jr. Lifeguard Camp

Ages: 9-14
Spend a week at Lions Park Pool learning the basics of lifeguarding including first aid, CPR, water rescues, and more! Jr Lifeguards will get a sneak peek at the importance of safety, teamwork, and leadership skills needed to become professional certified lifeguards. Participants must be able to swim 1 lap (25 yards) for freestyle and be confident in 12-foot-deep water. Completion does not guarantee employment with Clarendon Hills Park District.
